The three cards pulled for your reading are:

  1. Page of Pentacles
  2. Page of Cups
  3. The Star

Page of Pentacles

The first card represents the past or the basis of the issue you bring to this reading.  The Page can represent a person (either the querent or someone she knows) or a message.  The Pentacles are an Earth sign.  The Page of Pentacles is diligent and dutiful, and she works hard for material reward.  Sometimes she’s too diligent for her own good.  While soberness can be a good quality, like most it can be overdone.  The Page needs to take time for fun and humor and not let responsibilities overwhelm him.

The Page of Pentacles can also be a message of money, luck, health, or other good tiding.

The Page of Cups

The second card in the reading indicates the present or the current circumstances of the issue prompting the reading.  The Page of Cups again can represent a real person or can represent a message.  Cups is a Water sign.  It is about creativity, emotion and sensitivity.  The person represented by the Page of Cups is one from who creative energy flows.  This is the person with her heart on her sleeve.  When she’s depressed, she’s very, very depressed, and when she’s happy, she’s elated.

As a message, the Page of Cups represents new, creative projects.  He can also represent a new love or friendship forming.  On the reverse, he can be a warning not to be so caught up in the creative process or the new romance that you forget at the base who you are and where you’re heading.  My intuition says that this is the meaning for you here.

The Star

The third card in the reading represents the future or the resolution of the issue the querent brings to the reading.  The Star is a card of hope.  It does not mean that everything will be suddenly, miraculously better.  Rather, it predicts that over time your situation will come to fruition.  That the help you need will come, possibly from an unexpected source.  This card is also a card of balance.  The young woman has two urns.  One she pours out on the ground to nourish the seeds for new growth.  The other she pours into the pool to provide water for those who thirst.

My Interpretation

I feel strongly that these cards are representing you in this reading.  In the past, you’ve spent a great deal of time being responsible, taking care of others, doing what was expected of you.  You’re at a place in your life now where you are finding yourself and embracing your creativity.  You are allowing yourself to free your emotions and to live your life more openly.  I see this current period as a time of intense personal growth for you.  But still, you are pulled back by your need to be responsible and do what you are supposed to do.

Your resolution is in finding balance.  Balance between responsibility and creativity.  Balance between doing for others and taking care of yourself and your own needs.  Don’t let the needs of others pull you down until you are no longer yourself.  You aren’t an automaton.  You have feelings and needs that must be nurtured.  Whatever you do, don’t lose touch with that.

The Goddess Card:  Isis

The Goddess card I pulled for you, Isis, seems to reinforce this message.  Isis often represents the past holding you back, keeping your rooted so you can’t move forward.  Whether this is from a past life, from your childhood or from your more recent past, you need to work through those issues so that you are free to move forward in your life and embrace the future.

Usual Caveat

I rely heavily on my own intuition when giving readings.  What I offer may be completely on target, or it may be completely off the edge.  Only you can know if these interpretations have meaning for you.  If this interpretation doesn’t resonate for you, take the meanings of the cards and read the message from them that resonates for you.

I would appreciate some feedback on how well my interpretation resonates with you, though.  It will help me to work with my intuition and hone my skill.
