I’m finally back to blogging about my daily tarot card pull. I’ve been sick as a dog for a couple of weeks, so just haven’t had the energy to type these up. But I’m much better now, so here we go:
Today’s card is The Empress. This card is about opportunity and abundance. She tells us that whatever we are working on, whether it’s a relationship, a job, or a project, has a strong possibility of success. But we must be willing to do the work, and we must have patience to allow our fruits to be born. Many cards depict the Empress as pregnent, with it’s symbolism of opportunity, creation and abundance.
This fits in well with today’s Goddess card: Aine (pronounced An-yah). Aine tells us to take risks and to put our desires into action. It’s warning isn’t about making a wrong decision, but about making no decision. As my momma used to say, “shit or get off the pot”. Make a decision and act on it. This card also suggest interpretations of being on the right path and your dreams coming true.
I believe that these two cards are talking about my blogging. I’ve been blogging for a couple of years, but I’ve only really started to try and capitalize on my blogging in the last 10 months, and especially working at it more deliberately since September. This is something that I really want, something that I’m willing to work rediculous hours for very little recompense to get it off the ground. These cards are a confirmation for me to keep on with the path, that the decisions I’m making along this line are good ones, to “keep moving foward” to quote the movie “Meet the Robinsons”. (That’s a cute flick, by the way. I highly recommend it.)
