Cesar Milan’s only 2008 seminar is being held in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, December 6th. If I could afford airfare and tickets, I’d so be going to it.
We started watching the Dog Whisperer about 2 months ago on the recommendation of my sister-in-law, Anja. We started with season 1 on DVD, and we’re already about half way through season 3. We’ve started using some of his techniques with our dogs, and it’s amazing in the change in them, especially our youngest, Bluebelle.
Blue is 3 years old, but still very puppyish in her behavior. She’s very high energy and very excitable. Since we started using some of Cesar Milan’s techniques, she’s much calmer, much easier to control, much less excitable. The squirrel out the window still tends to get her goat occasionally, but at least she’s not screeching at the top of her lungs anymore when she can’t get to the squirrel.
If you can get there, I highly recommend Cesar Milan’s techniques for working with dogs. The guy is a genius. Actually, I think he’s probably an empath in addition to having a great innate understanding of dog psychology.
