Read it and weep, right wingers.
Essentially, the Court stated that the state’s Civil Union law did not provide the same rights and benefits as the state’s marriage law and was therefore illegal under their state constitution!
A big thank you to the couples who filed the suit, paving the way for all the gay and lesbian couples in Connecticut to gain the right to marriage.
