I talked about Everquest II before. Well, if you want to give it a try, Sony is giving away free trials through the end of August, and it includes all of the expansions, so you won’t have to buy anything. If you like it at the end of your free month, all you have to do is sign up for the monthly fee, which is $14.99 per month (cheaper if you buy multiple months at a time).
You get the free trial by receiving an invite from a current subscriber. I still have about 15 trials left to give out. If you are interested, leave a comment and I’ll e-mail an invitation to you.
NOTE: The computer requirements for the game are relatively high. Please don’t request an invitation if you don’t meet the minimum requirements for the game, which are:
- Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP
- Processor: 1GHz
- RAM: 512 MB
- Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64 MB of texture memory
- Sound Card: DirectSound compatible audio hardware
The recommended system requirements are:
- Operating System: Windows XP
- Processor: 2 GHz or greater
- RAM: 1 GB
- CD-ROM: 16x CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
- Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and Vertex shader compatible hardware with 128mb of texture memory or greater
- Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy
