I have never had any luck with healing rituals. I've been told I just need more practice. You know what they say. Its like muscle that never gets used. when you exercise it it hurts, but it gets stronger.

Congrats on finishing your first real ritual! I hope that the energy finds it's way to your brother-in-law and I will light a candle for him and send some energy his way also.

While you feel filled with energy during and immediately after rituals, they are exhausting and I sometimes wind up with headaches and feel famished. I tend to try to eat something afterwards to avoid the queezy feeling.

I once asked a very experienced wise woman about the exhaustion I experienced, and she told me that a lot of people tend to focus the energy out of their stomaches or don't concentrate on where it's focusing out of. She told me that if I concentrated on focusing the energy out of the center of my forehead that I would avoid a lot of the exhaustion after ritual. She was right.

Also - don't forget to ground yourself before ritual. That helps too.
